Summary
The proceedings were in respect of 180 divorce judgments, rendered in England. In all these cases, the English court established jurisdiction under Article 3(1) of Brussels IIa. For these purposes, all the divorce petitions were indicating that one of the litigants was living at the same address in Maidenhead. The property in question turned out to be a non-residential property. There was also a forgery. In these circumstances, the divorce decrees were declared void for fraud.
