Summary
The court held that the German courts were internationally competent as the parties had their habitual residence in Germany, Art 3 (1) (a) first indent Brussels IIa. The divorce was to be assessed under Iranian law pursuant to Art 8 (3) German-Persian Settlement Agreement.
