Summary
Application of Brussels I Regulation provisions to the enforcement of a foreign court decision in Spain. The matter of the case is the enforcement of a court decision from Italian courts in Spain in the context of a divorce case. Court decision: the enforcement is not accepted because the party against whom the enforcement is sought lives in Italy and the place of enforcement is also Italy (arts. 39 and 59).
