Summary
Application of Brussels I Regulation provisions to the enforcement of a foreign court decision in Spain. The matter of the case is the enforcement of a German court decision in Spain. The plaintiff alleges an infringement of public policy in order not to recognise the enforcement in Spain. Court decision: Spain must enforce the German court decision. Art. 34 of Brussels I Regulation must be restrictively interpreted according to CJEU case law. The foreign court decision is not contrary to Spanish public policy.
