Summary
Subject of the proceedings was a copyright dispute. The subject matter was a claim to information. The plaintiff further claimed a violation of his copyright regarding film clips and their upload to an online video platform. The court stated its international jurisdiction pursuant to national law (§ 32 ZPO). It further held that Art 8 (1) Rome II led to the applicability of German law. It held that the plaintiff based his action on the violation of his copyright within German territory.
