Summary
Conflict of jurisdiction based on the application of Brussels I Regulation provisions.
The matter of the case is the termination of employment of a Spanish employee who works for a Spanish company domiciled in Spain. The labour contract was signed in Peru. The services were provided in Peru.
Court decision: Spanish courts are competent to decide on the case according to arts. 2.1 and 19.1 of Brussels I Regulation (defendant´s domicile in Spain).
